How to play on Desktop PC

A standalone version of Savanna Sam for Windows is available on Steam! This includes a free demo version that you can download on Steam as well:

With the Steam version of the game, you can play the entire game offline.

This also applies to the free demo version that you can download on Steam as well.

Also, any achievements awarded in the game will be visible in your Steam profile, too.

Play in your Browser

As with most platforms, one way to play the game on desktop PCs is to play it in your browser! All common browsers are supported, including Chrome, Firefox and Edge.

Controls

On PC, Savanna Sam can be played the regular way, using mouse and keyboard to navigate the menus and fly Sam’s plane.

However, you can also use a gamepad to play the game.

In this case, both analog sticks are used to steer the plane and to change Sam’s orientation.

This is supported both in the Steam and the browser version of the game. Most desktop browsers include gamepad support.

Savanna Sam supports touchscreen input, which lets you play the game both on iPhones and iPads.

On touchscreens, you use virtual on-screen analog sticks to control the game.

The sticks appear anywhere you touch the screen. This way, you can position your hands in the way that is most comfortable to you.

Currently, there is no App Store version of the game available. There may be an App Store version in the future, but there is no release date as of now.

However, you can still play Savanna Sam on iPhones and iPads either by playing it directly in your browser or by downloading the game with Safari!

The installed browser version of the game will behave similarly to the App from the Google Play Store, in that it will try to download most of the graphics ahead of time and will also automatically run in landscape and fullscreen modes.
